Become An Instructor

This position offers the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of people across the board at a critical point in their lives: everyone needs their driving licence. We believe that everyone also deserves the best opportunity possible to learn the skills necessary for long term safety and enjoyment in the privilege and pleasure of owning a vehicle. It follows that we are looking for individuals with compassionate patience and a cool head to guide our students along the road to success, not only for their test, but also for a life-long love of driving.

Any work worth doing will demand commitment, but Ricks also offers great flexibility in choosing your hours and workload--not a common perk in this industry. This position is best suited for persons who can manage themselves independently, are organized, and have a can-do attitude. You are about to coach people in what should be one of the most memorable adventures of their lives. An in-car instructor’s licence is required, or ask us about how to obtain one.

A valid MTO Driving Instructor Licence, or a valid G Class Driver’s Licence with minimum four years experience. If you don’t have the instructor’s licence, ask us about it--Rick’s can help!
